Hi, I’m Chrissie—the heart, hands, and the baker behind The Feral Whisk. I’m ServSafe certified and committed to making sure everything I bake is as safe as it is delicious.
What started as a simple love for baking quickly turned into something more. I found myself drawn to the process—the testing, the tweaking, and that moment when a tray comes out of the oven and you just know it’s the one
The Feral Whisk Baking Company was built on that feeling, with just a bit of chaos. Every cookie you see has gone through countless small adjustments, all with one goal in mind: creating that perfect balance of soft, thick, and comfort. The kind of cookie that makes you pause for a second and just enjoy it.
Outside of the kitchen, I’m also the owner of Chewie’s Pawsibilities, an in-home pet grooming business. Caring for others—whether it’s people or their pets—has always been at the center of what I do. The Feral Whisk is simply another way I get to share that care, this time through baking.
Everything is still made in small batches, but things are growing. The Cozy Crumb Bakery is currently transitioning from a home kitchen to a licensed commercial kitchen and is in the process of becoming fully licensed through the State of Michigan.
Until then, every cookie is made with intention, a little bit of curiosity, and a whole lot of heart.
Because sometimes the simplest things—like a really good cookie—can make a day a little sweeter. And that’s exactly what The Feral Whisk is here to do.
